The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- The two bowls and one of the covers are in very good condition with some light age-related wear and rubbing to the enamels and gilt as expected.
- The other cover has a chip measuring approx. 0.3 x 0.2 cm. with two associated hairlines, the longest measuring approx. 2.1 cm.
