We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One vase (brighter blue glaze):
-There is a large star crack to the base.
-A large area to the body and the base has been broken into several pieces and restored, with associated overpainting, overspray, a long hairline to the mouth rim, a star crack to the base and a few composite pieces.
-It appears that there are no remnants of gilt-decoration.
The other vase:
-There are faint remnants of gilt-decoration to the exterior. Otherwise this appears to be in overall fairly good condition.
