The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
Both robes have a few small areas of light disolouration/fading to the front and reverse and some loose threads.
The red robe
- There is some light discolouration and there are some areas of staining to the pale blue lining of the robe.
The green robe:
- The lining is detached along the lower edge of the robe
- Two loop fastenings are broken and frayed.
- There is some fraying along the edges in places.
