The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
There is some light rubbing to the enamels that are otherwise bright and finely executed and there is light surface wear to both in keeping with their age.
- The wood covers are later replacements.
One vase:
- This has some light touching up to the green enamel of the small rock at the base of the exterior.
- This has some scratches that have lightly discloured.
The other vase:
- This is in good overall condition.
- This has a paper label to the base reading Marchant & Son, London, W8, K'ang Hsi
