The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes to the condition of thess pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
All five dishes have scattered nicks/tiny shallow chips to the foot rings and light age-related surface wear and scratches.
One 'bird and peony' dish:
- There are two tiny areas of restoration to the rim, the largest measuring approx. 0.5 x 0.5 cm.
Second 'bird and peony' dish:
- There is a glaze hairline to the exterior if the rim measuring approx. 4.5 cm. long
Third 'bird and peony' dish:
- There are two tiny hairlines extending from the rim, the longest measuring approx. 0.8 cm.
Fourth 'bird and peony' dish
- good condition
