We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The bowl:
- There is a rhombic pictogram and traces of a calligraphy written to the unglazed base.
- There are a few shallow chips and glaze frits to the mouth rim, the largest measuring approx. 0.5 cm diam.

The dish:
- The base rim has been polished.
- There is a hairline crack to the mouth rim measuring approx. 3 cm. long.
- There is a flaw line under the glaze and some glaze frits to the mouth rim.

Both have some general age-related surface wear.
