The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the conditions of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
-Five of the interior spoons and three of the stoppers are missing.
-Two of the snuff bottles (streaked orange glass and double-gourd lapis lazuli seen to the left of the illustration) are in overall fairly good condition.
-There are minor nicks/chips to the other snuff bottles.
-There is a small chip to the mouth rim of the honey-coloured glass bottle which has been infilled, measuring approx. 0.8 cm. wide.
