Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The bowl: - There is a polished chip to the mouth rim and another section with light polish, possibly to conceal chip. - There are a few minute nicks to the exteriors.
The plague: - There is a short hairline crack to one section of the rim, measuring approx. 1.5 cm long.
- Both have some general age-related surface wear and light pitting. - The stones have some natural fissures
