The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the conditions of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
-There are chips and glaze flakes to the extremities (particularly to the corners), possibly with some minor associated overpainting.
-There is general age-related surface wear, including scratches and rubbing to the enamels and gilding.
