Zhu Xiuli is a native of Shanghai, who lives and works in Anhui province. His expressive landscapes are included in several prominent international museum collections, including the the Ashmolean Museum (EA1983.241), the British Museum (1983,1115,0.5; 1990,0629,0.1), and the Art Gallery of New South Wales (43.1986). He is noted for his talent as a landscape painter in Zhang Genquan's Biographical Dictionary of Chinese Artists: Supplementary Edition (Zhongguo Meishujia Renming Cidian: Zengbu Ben), 2008, pp.161.

Zhao Xiuhuan is a native of Beijing, who moved to the US in 1989. Her paintings combine meticulous brush work with explosive use of colour. She has exhibited widely across the US, Europe and Asia. She is included among the prominent artist recorded in Michael Sullivan's Modern Chinese Artists: A Biographical Dictionary (2006), pp. 228, where Sullivan highlights her landscape and floral compositions.
