The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture
Bowl and cover:
- both appear to be in overall good condition
- expected surface scratces, particularly to the base
- expected surface abrasion and rubbing to the enamels
- foot rim and the rim of the finial on the cover have been polished
Wall vase:
- appears to be in overall good condition
- rubbing to the enamels, particularly to the gilding
- minor nicks to the edge of the proferated hole on the back
Pair of yellow-glazed cups:
- both appear to be in overall good condition
- one inner foot rim is written in red paint with "CC94-1", and the other is "CC94-2"
- one is with a very minuteglaze flakte near the foot rim
