We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-expected nicks, minor chips to the edges, minor surface abrasion, scratches and wear
-a fillet to the top of the cover with associated repair to the underside of the cover
-metal works possibly replaced
-a cut-out section with a metal mount to the interior of the cover on one side
