The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- overpainting to the mouth rim and a few associated flakes
- one horizontal break to the shoulder, only visible from the interior and possibly restored with glue residue
- another two horizotal hairline cracks to the body, visible from both inside and outside
- a few potting flaws/irregularity to the body
- restoration to and around the base on the lower part of the body with associated overpainting
- there are paint and glue residue on the interior bottom
- some surface scratches and abrasion
