We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- restoration and overpainting around the mouth, neck and top of shoulder and around the foot.
- surface scratches and wear consistent with age.
- there is some mottling and slight irregularity to the glaze below the central luting line
- there are chips and kiln grit adhsion to the base
