The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- As seen in the illustration, there is loss to the pigments, scratching, wear and some minor pits/losses to the surface, partiularly around the bottom of the neck
- possible restorations to two areas where the painted decorations are matte/blurry
- a few chips to foot rim and adhesion to base
- a few flaws to the lower half of the body
