The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- there is a shallow flaw in the stone on the inner mouth rim which can be felt with a fingernail
- the rim has been slightly reduced one side, and there are two smaller polished chips on the rim
- there is a darker, rougher area on one side of the exterior and a similar, smaller area on the underside
- the stone is of greyish green color, with some small cloudy inclusions and some large beige-russet inclusions
