The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- As seen in the illustration, there is some wear to the pigments, overall wear and scratching to the surface, and some of the pigments may have been refreshed.
- There are a few nicks and chips to the mouth rim and upper flange of the neck, as well as to the foot.
- There is some discoloration around the exterior of the foot ahd half of the interior of the foot, possilbly concealing repair.
