We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- As seen in the illustration, there is some loss to the pigments, scratching and chips/pitting to the surface, as well as chips to edges
- there is overspraying/ pigments being refreshed around the mouth, particularly to the inner mouth
- there are two networks of fine cracks to the base, only visible on the exterior
- some expected surface degratdation near the base
- two illegible characters following "790 ehhh" are written on the base in black ink
