The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The neck is restored with associated overpainting.
- There appears to be restoration to one handle and possibly one side of the vessel, and a small area of discoloration on one side.
- There are scattered nicks to the body, as well as a TL test hole to the tip.
