The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The larger:
-As can be seen, there are some large chips to the blunt end and some chips to either corner of the cutting edge
-some minor nicks to the edges

The smaller:
-some chipping along one side of the corner of the blunt edge
-some polished shallow chipping near one side of the perforation
-small other minor nicks to the edges
-a linear purplish, pitted area of irregularity to one side and some other areas of shallow pitting
