The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Figure of the man:
- the head has been off and restuck, with associated chips
- the figure is missing two arms, with a few other small areas of losses
- there's a hole to the bottom of one foot
- chips, flakes and a few surfeace scratches throughout
- there is remnant of pigments

Figure of the lady:
- the head possibly been off and restuck, with an associated restored break around the head and to the hair on the back
- remnant of pigmens, with several areas of pigments refreshed, particularly to the face
- a few short firing cracks to the interior
- chips, flakes and a few surface scratches throughout
