We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- appears to be in overall good condition for works of this type and age
- a chip to the yellow cloud-like vapor near the horse's head and to the inlaid waterfall
- there might be some old fill to a few areas
- expected minor pitting, minor losses and shallow small chips and nicks to the enamels
- expected light tarnishing, wear and minor dents and a few fine cracks to the metal on the border
- the reverse with some malachite encrustation and light, minor corrosion to the metal
