The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- as illustrated, Guanyin's right hand is now loss
- Guanyin's left hand appears to be re-attached
- some small chips, including ones to the tips of the hairpin, the edges of the robes and the base, some of which may have been polished
- one hairline crack to the back of the figure and two hairline cracks to the base
- a few iron spots and firing cracks, which are orignal to manufacture
- some areas of abrasion and expected light surface scratches
