The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-There is a chip and an associated short crack to the mouth rim.
-There are firing cracks to the handles.
-There are a few glaze burst bubbles.
-There are glaze lines.
-There are three hairline cracks extending from the base to the exterior.
-There is minute glaze flaw to one side of the lower body.
-There is a circular firing crack around the base.
-""528"" and ""24.321 have been inscribed on the base.
Second:
-There are three hairlines extending from the mouth rim.
-There is a short crack to one side below the mouth rim.
-There are surface scratches.
-There is a knock to the lower body.
-There are firing cracks encircling the foot.
-""24.342"",""644"" and ""434"" have been inscribed on the base.
Third:
-There is a glaze line extending from the mouth rim to the interior.
-""373"" and ""24.381"" have been inscribed on the base.
Fourth:
-There is a small horizontal glaze gap to the interior mouth rim and frits to the exterior of the mouth rim.
-There are a few hairline cracks and glaze lines to the foot.
-There is a small shallow polished chip to the foot rim.
-""750"" and ""24.384"" have been inscribed on the base.
