The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are small losses to both thumbs.
- Minor nicks to the back of the hair and to the edges of the base.
- There are some chips to the base, and the base plate is now missing.
- A few dents to the reverse of the base.
- There are traces of gilt remaining.
