We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is an area of alteration on the upper-right side of the beast
- There are some tiny nicks to the edges and relief decoration, as expected
- As illustrated, there are some fissures and inclusions in the stone
- A fissure to the rump and the tail of the beast with some minor loss; and a tiny loss to the underside of the beast
