The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Small chip to the proper right side of the horse's head with associated very fine crack, which is very unobtrusive.
- Shallow chip to the horse's back.
- Area of polish to the edges of the horse's ears.
- A few small, shallow nicks and chips to the edges, extremities and the surface of the base.
- A few faint fissures, which are inherent to the stone.
