QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are a few minute casting flaws to the top of the chignon and feet
- Minute nicks to edges, including to the edge of the scroll, chignon, and folds of the robes.
- There are some minor dents on the edges of the base
- There are some small, minor areas of abrasion.
- The base plate has been later reinforced.
