The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Both with scratches and expected surface wear and minor rubbing to the iron red
One bowl:
- There is a semicircular line and a straight line beneath the mouth rim which are underneath the glaze and appear to be imperfections inherent to manufacture
- Small chip and minute frit to mouth rim
The other bowl:
- A few minute frits to mouth rim
