We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- jar and cover are associated
Jar:
- two hairline cracks to edge of the collar on the interior, one with an associated chip
- three star cracks, only visible from the inside
- a short firing crack and a few minute burst glaze bubbles on the exterior
- other short firing cracks to the interior
- chips to the foot rim
Cover:
- mouth rim has a hairline crack splits into two and a few minute nicks
- slightly mishapened
