We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- three areas of restoration and a rectangular hole to the bottom of the vessel
- an indentation with association cracks around one leg on the base
- another minor dent to one side of the upper half of the vessel
- the handle had been restuck with associated restoration; the underside has a fine crack and a hole
- a few dents and nicks to edges
- the pin connecting the cover to the body possibly replaced
- expected encrustations to the surface
