The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Jar:
- a short hairline crack to the mouth rim, with associated overpainting on the interior
- a few other areas of overpainting to the mouth rim, possibly cocealing restored chips, and mouth rim has been polished
- a few faint cracks and star cracks, only visible on the interior
- a few minute chips to the foot rim and some short glaze gaps to the base near the rim
- some expected surface scratches and abrasion

Cover:
- four restored chips to the outer rim
- few areas of overpainting to the interior, including ones to and near the collar
- inner rim slightly polished
