The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- camel's neck and four legs have been restuck with associated restoration
- another restored break to the front left leg near the foot, and two restored breaks to the base
- chips and fine cracks to edges and surface
- some earth encrustations and remnant of black and red pigments
- a TL test drilled hole to the belly of the camel near the opening at the bottom
