The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- As seen in the illusration, there are small chips to edges and extremities, firing cracks, glaze flakes,and expected surface degradation
- the attribute is now missing, with associated infill to the proper right hand where the attribute would be held
- some areas of pigments refreshed, particularly to the face
