The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its manufacture.
Phoenix:
- a few small sections of loss, some of which with associated polishing and faint surface cracks
- a few faint surface fissures
- some natural fissures and inclusions in the stone, inherent to the material

Buddhist lion:
- a few nicks and chips to the edges and relief decoration
- some natural fissures and inclusions in the stone, inherent to the material

Water buffalo :
- a few nicks and chips to the edges and surface
- a few stained surface cracks
- some natural fissures and inclusions in the stone, inherent to the material
