The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Seated boy:
- a few very minute nicks to edges

Mandarin duck:
- a minor loss to the edge of the lotus leaf
- a few minute knocks to the edges
- an small area of possible recarving to the tip of the wings
- a faint crack to the head
- some natural fissures and inclusions, which are inherent to the stone
