Lot Essay
This jade libation cup is inspired by the forms and decoration of the archaic Chinese bronze vessels made in the Shang (1600-1100 BC) and Zhou Dynasties (1100-256 BC) that were so highly prized amongst China's wealthy, educated and elite scholar classes.
