The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The vase:
- There are some retouchings to the rim and to the foot rim.
- There is a small chip to the rim.
- There are some minor nicks to the edges as may be expected.

The box:
- The box and cover are matched.
- There is a loss to the rim of the cover measuring max. approx. 1.5 x 0.5 cm and some smaller losses.
- There are two small retouched chips to the rim of the cover measuring max. approx. 1.2 x 0.2 cm.
- The base has some superficial nicks to the rim and to the foot rim.
- There is some surface wear.
