The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The fingers of the right hand are broken away and there is some restoration to both hands.
- There is a short crack in the front of each sleeve near the wrist.
- There are small chips to the edges of the robe (the largest approx. 0.7 cm.) and to the big toe on the figure's right foot, and some fritting to the top of the cowl.
- There also appears to be some restoration and small chips to the top of each outcropping of rock, possibly where something was broken off.
- There are few very tiny pinprick iron spots.
- The figure is well modelled and the face is delicate.
