The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The taller wucai jar:
- There is a tiny nick associated with an original firing flaw on the rim measuring max. approx. 0.2 x 0.3 cm.
- There are a couple of dents to the foot rim, that probably occurred during firing.
- There is a glaze crack to the body measuring max. approx. 4 cm long.
- There is some general surface wear and flaking to the enamels as may be expected.

The other wucai jar:
- There are a few nicks and small chips to the rim and to the foot rim.
- There is some general surface wear as may be expected.
- The horizontal luting line has discoloured in places.

The blue and white jar:
- There are some tiny nicks to the rim and foot rim.
- There are some minor firing flaws and general surface wear as may be expected.
