Details
The upper and lower sections of the vase are divided by decorative bands of ruyi heads and the panels to each register are variously decorated with elegant ladies, elderly men, young boys and scholars all in garden settings, boatmen in river landscapes, and scholar's objects including incense burners and vases. The neck and base are further embellished with lotus heads, lappet bands and leafy floral sprigs.
