The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
Six moulded cups and saucers with foliate rims
- In good overall condition.
- The six cups 3¼ in (8.4 cm.) diam.
- The six saucers 4⅞ in. (12.5 cm.) diam.
Five 'flowers of the four seasons' cups and four saucers
- The five cups have scattered small nicks and small chips to the rims, the largest chip measuring max. approx. 0.6 x 0.2 cm.
- One cup has two hairline cracks, the largest extending max. approx. 4 cm. from the rim.
- The four saucers have various scattered small nicks and small chips to the rims, the largest measuring max. approx. 0.5 x 0.1 cm from the rim.
- One saucer has two hairlines, and a second saucer has one hairline, the largest measuring max. approx. 2 cm. from the rim.
- The five cups 2¾ in. (7.1 cm.) diam.
- The four saucers 4⅜ in. (11.1 cm.) diam.
Three 'landscape and flower panel' moulded cups and two saucers
- Two cups have a few tiny scattered nicks.
- Two saucers have a few scattered nicks and a chip measuring max. approx. 0.5 x 0.2 cm.
- The third cup is in good condition.
- The three cups 3⅜ in. (8.5 cm.) diam.
- The two saucers 5¼ in. (13.4 cm.) diam.
One cup
- This has a hairline extending approx. 3.5 cm. from the rim.
- This has a shallow chip measuring approx. 1.2 cm. wide.
- The cup measures 2⅞ in. (7.3 cm.) diam.
Three Kangxi-style cups and saucers with central flower heads, all later in date
- Two cups have a few scattered nicks and each has a hairline crack, the longest measuring max. approx. 3.5 cm. from the rim.
- One saucer has a nick to the rim.
- The third cup and two remaining saucers are in good condition.
- Three Kangxi-style cups 2⅞ in. (7.4 cm.) diam.
- Three Kangxi-style saucers 4½ in. (11.6 cm.) diam.
