Details
Each dish is decorated with a central iron-red dragon-roundel amongst butterflies, enclosed by a band of tendrils and four cartouches with auspicious objects. The reverse is decorated with four large floral tendrils.

Private English collection, acquired by a Protestant missionary in Beijing in the 19th century, then by descent within the family.
