Details
The front of the pendant is intricately carved in relief with a scene depicting a boy lighting firecrackers hung on bamboo branches. The reverse is inscribed with four characters in zhuanshu script, reading zhu bao ping an, which may be translated as 'bamboo conveys wishes for peace'. The stone is of a pale, even tone.

From the collection of a private estate in Palm Beach, Florida, mostly amassed in the early 1980s.
