The body is cast with two registers of taotie masks, with raised eyes and pupils and their bodies are formed of scrolls and parallel wing-like motifs. A two-character inscription, shi ju, is cast on the outer side of one post and a three-character inscription, ran zu yi, is cast beneath the handle.
