The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-There is glaze degradation.
-a few potting flaws on the exterior
-a Y-shaped firing crack in the glaze on the shoulder
-a hairline extending from the mouth rim, approxiamtely 1¾ in. (4.4 cm.) long
-a few kiln grit adhesions on the exterior
- a few chips to the foot
- minor area of touch up to the shoulder
