We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. First: -The vase appears to be in overall good condition except one minor kiln grit adhesion to the foot.
Second: -There is a restored crack extending from the mouth rim to the neck with associated overpainting. -There are areas of restoration with associated overpainting on the mouth. -There are a few areas of abrasion. -There are a few nicks to the foot. - there is overpainting to the chilong decoration on the neck.
Third: -There is expected wear to the surface. -There are a few polished chips and firing flaws to the foot.
Fourth: -There is expected wear to the surface. -There is a chip and a few minor nicks to the foot. - some minor scratches on the surface
