The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

First:
-There are pinprick holes, burst bulbles and scratches to the glaze.
-There are a few chips to the mouth rim with associated overpainting.
-There are expected chips and nicks to the foot.
Second:
-There is a short crack to the glaze below the mouth.
-There are areas of misfiring and areas of abrasion.
-There is expected wear to the mouth rim and the spout.
-There is overpainting on the entire spout.
-There is a firing crack to the base.
-The foot rim has possibly been overpainted.
-There are a few expected nicks to the foot rim."
