MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-There are areas of abrasion on the surface, most notably around the exterior rim.
-There are a few pinprick holes to the glaze.
-There are a few minor glaze gaps on the interior and exterior.
-There are glaze gaps and expected chipping on the base.
-There is a minor polished chip to the mouth rim.
-There are a few hairline cracks on the foot rim.
-Base has been incised with a six-character mark, which has been abraded.
