The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
First:
-The foot has been lightly buffed
-There is small section of polishing to the one side of the cup below the mouth rim.
-There is one minor firing flaw on the rock decoration.

Second:
-The mouth rim has been light buffed.
-There are a few iron spots and pin prick holes to the interior and exterior
-There are shallow surface chips to the inner foot rim.

Third:
-There is a small loss to the one flower with assoicated restoration.
-There is a small area of loss with assocatied restoration on rock work on one narrow side.
-There is restoration to the face of the deer.
- There are areas of restoration to the mouth rim.
